BAFTA: sadly not this time... |
|||||
date: 3 Nov 1998 The first Ceremony and Dinner for the BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Awards was held last Thursday 29th October at the Intercontinental Hotel in London, hosted by Stephen Fry. BAFTA launched the Awards in January in association with ICL. Sadly, TDV's Starship Titanic was pipped to the post in both categories - "MindGym" scooped Comedy, and the Interactive Treatment award was won by "StageStruck". Real World's "Ceremony of Innocence" netted two awards - Moving Images and Sound, while Rare won the special award for contributions to the industry. |
